My kids liked the grape flavor. It is definitely pretty sweet (since it also contains honey). I wish it would have come with a dosing cup. I generally expect medicine to come with a way to distribute the medicine. I think it was fairly effective in helping with my kids cough and congestion. It's not especially long lasting (we needed to use it about every four hours), but I think that's a fairly average amount of time.
I like that it's a natural option and I feel comfortable with the ingredients in it. Since it is honey based, you want to avoid using this for children under 1. It's intended for age 2 +.
Really effective. This is a natural cough syrup that works with chunky wet coughs. I am thrilled. I have not tried ivy extract before but it worked well for my two younger kids.
I am pleasantly surprised. We tried several Zarbees cough syrups and they have all been great. And they do actually work. They are easy to get kids to take and give relief. I am not sure what more you could want in a cough syrup but I am definitely happy. These are all honey based so they are not appropriate for babies. Also, they all taste like heaven so you will need to put them up high to avoid tempting little ones.

so i tried it myself one day... have to agree with them on it
maybe if it just had the honey without the grape might be better tasting
however it is easier for them to take and safer than the name brand over the counter medicines
those have so many other things in them that they do not need to be taking
this product gives them the bit of relief to help get through their stuffy colds

I think it really depends on how well your child takes to grape flavor how easy it is to get down.
I tried it on myself first because I was feeling a cold come on and was coughing a bit. For ages 6+, it's 2 tablespoons. I'm in my 30's, so that counts as 6+, right?
It's indeed soothing and very pleasant with a strong rich honey taste. It looks, smells, and tastes like honey, so your kids won't run away screaming. I can feel it coating my throat as it goes down, though i felt slight tickling for several minutes after swallowing, possibly due to the ivy extract?
This provides relief and helps break up mucus....it isn't going to treat a cold all the way around.

If your kid don't like the taste, just dump it in his cup. My son can't tell.
I do recommend giving 1 or 2 half doses to start if your little one struggles with taking new meds, so they can adjust to the new flavor as it certainly is different than other meds out there.

This cough syrup + mucus works excellent. I always say no one size fits all…BUT I’ll admit this cough syrup worked well! The first time I tried this was months back on my niece. Ever since then I saw a difference compared to other syrups out there; this one has no drugs or alcohol. There’s no artificial sweeteners or dyes. The product is also gluten-free and has a natural mixed berry flavor. I like the nighttime option because it has chamomile. Both syrups have a Blend of Dark Honey too. Furthermore, after you taste it the difference is noticeable (more natural). We all want our kiddos to have the necessary medication…BUT also safe medication. Moreover, this syrup allowed our little ones to rest (really soothing). The nighttime option does indeed cause drowsiness…AND also helps symptoms. I’m mentioning this as something worth five stars. I’ve tried other similar products that don’t relieve symptoms but do cause a lot of drowsiness. I like this one actually worked. Overall, I definitely recommend. Of course…always do your research, and make sure this product is right for you family (there’s no one size fits all)…Great product though! Also good for sensitive stomachs (in my opinion) without all the harsh add-ons at times.
I like that these are generally mild and while they don't work for every cough, they tend to do just fine for lighter / simpler coughs, and can really help the kids feel better / taken care of.

I used zarbees before so im not sure why i strayed but i bought this cough and mucus and my daughter started getting better within 24 hrs and zarbees she loves. I'll never stray again.
With flu season fully upon us, the past couple months have been back and forth for my 2.5 year old preschooler. She's been battling coughs or runny noses, but for the most part this product seems to help keep symptoms milder and her colds have gone away seemingly faster than usual.
