    I needed more sodium due to low numbers on bloodwork. I put one of these tablets in a 16 oz glass of water and it is only mildly salty, very pleasant and goes down easy. The tablet dissolves quickly too. Great way to get added sodium, whereas drinking too much plain water will dilute important electrolytes.

    Purchased for my son with possible POTS. Awaiting confirmation diagnosis. My son has informed me that they will dissolve fairly quickly, if left on tongue for too long, leaving a strong salt taste (of course). Somewhere I read a suggestion of taking with a spoonful of jello to ensure it goes down more easily. My son did that a few times but now just takes them plain, with water.

    Like most other people who have to add a ton of sodium to their diet for any number of medical reasons.. I was really tiring of drinking salt water, constantly eating salty food and still somehow not ingesting enough salt. Don't get me wrong, salt is amazingly delicious. But let me just say: saltwater is not refreshing, no matter how cold it is! You just get tired of only tasting salt.

    The first week I started taking this pill I vomited 4 times unexpectedly after taking this pill. It was almost funny when it started happening.. that's how unexpected it was! I would start feeling strangely nauseated for no reason I could see & then BAM! within a minute or two of the feeling coming on I had to run as fast as I could to the sink to vomit. That's when I began trying the pills at different times of day, with different amounts of water and with varying levels of food already in my belly. Each time I only took 1 whole pill. Well, it turns out that the trick (for me, anyway) is to actually take half a pill at a time. I can even take 2 halves within a short time of each other which seems weird but so far it is totally working.

    Anyway, that was it. The vomiting has completely stopped. I guess my body just really disliked so much sodium in one place at one time. I don't even really have to worry about time / water / food, even.. though I do make sure I'm not empty and I take it with half a glass of water just to help it dissolve.

    I 100% recommend this b/c it's cheap and gives you the sodium your body needs without you having to douse everything you eat in salt. Enjoy food and water again!

    I had chronic lumbar pain for years, and I had a hunch it might be low sodium. The same day I started taking these tabs, the pain disappeared! I have to take several daily - more than most would deem healthful, but hey, my pain is gone and I don't take meds anymore. My resting pulse and BP dropped a few points, Im no longer out of breathe during times of exertion, and I don't get acid reflux anymore. Been taking them in pairs ftom the beginning, so i couldnt believe it when i found out they made others puke. So greatful these are made!

    I am prone to hyponatremia, suffer from dry mouth due to medications, and I'm also on a fixed income. Added up how much I was spending on Gatorade Zero and Powerade Zero, and it was nearly $200 per month!

    Talked with my doc, and converted to these salt tablets and water. I take 3 or 4 of these a day now, and they're keeping my sodium level right where it should be. Enjoying the extra money in my budget tremendously!

    Talk to your doc first, but know that for me these do the trick perfectly.

However, it can be a little hard to swallow at times and it is not coated so you taste all the salt in your water. You can get it down without tasting it with some practice, but just be aware.

    I put a tablet in a gallon of spring water for my dogs too to help hydrate them & maintain better health.

    I take a single tablet at a time, & other electrolytes too. But this one is the strongest for killing germs & pests inside your body.
    It never made my sodium beyond the middle of normal. Im lacking so much sodium after a surgery that I have to supplement with electrolytes now. I take up to 3x a day.

    If you're worried about sodium use the more natural ones, their much better - I buy Iodized Sea Salt really inexpensively @ our common stores. And make sure you're not depleted when your doctor does blood tests, its in the metabolic profile; you want the extended metabolic profile version.
