I follow a popular independent consumer laboratory that tests supplements.
Swanson always passes.
Knowing that what's on the label, is the same as what's inside the bottle, makes all the difference to me.
Take this AvoVida for example.
Double-blind, placebo controlled studies show that Avocado / Soybean Unsaponifiables (ASU's) produce REAL benefits.
Plus, I've seen the Swanson brand pass multiple quality and purity tests, for a whole bunch of different supplements.
As a consumer, I can't get better than that.
I'm just glad someone is testing and making this stuff.
Just so you know, i have no connection to Swanson or any testing lab, or anything else like that.
If the product does what it is expected to, I'll be a happy man
BUT he also advised me to wait as long as I could stand it, and that I should be taking three of these capsules everyday.
It’s now four years later, and I will likely submit to the operations this year, but the Avo Vida bought me four years!! I have recommended it to so many friends, and they’ve all had the same outcome I have!
Avo Vida is a serious life-changer!
El alivio de artrosis se siente a las 3 semanas y se debe tomar continuamente sin interrumpir
Integrado con cúrcuma funciona demasiado bien
I have osteoarthritis in my hands and feet. Often the pain would wake me at night and the only relief was drenching my hands and feet in Voltaren. I’m trying everything prior to committing to the RX’s with all of the side effects.
While not 100% pain free its greatly improved my situation enough to be able to sleep and grip things better.
6 months. At month 4 we noticed there was more movement and now at almost the end of 6 months able to raise arm almost straight above head. Just received our new order... It certainly is working for me...
Avo-Soy and the swelling is gone. I can walk with no discomfort, and fully bend my knee when exercising. I will definitely continue to use. Researched this product and it has been used in Europe for many years and gone through trials that proved successful.
One month update: After four weeks of use I've stopped taking all pain meds (Motrin and Naproxen). I'm continuing a simple at home exercise program that takes me about 5 minutes a day to complete. The benefit I've received from this product has exceded anything I could have hoped for.
Original review, written in 2015: Frankly, I'm going to review this now, even though I haven't been taking it long. Probably a week. I have not noticed a decrease in pain from the osteoarthritis in my thumb. Nor have I noticed an increase in mobility. However, ASU seems to be the *only* supplement recommended by the NYU Langone CMC PT/OT Performance Center, where I get OT. A link from their website led me to an article, or summary, on ASU at the Arthritis Foundation website. To see that summary, go to the Arthritis Foundation website and type in ASU. Article says it "inhibits the breakdown of cartilage and promotes repair." I take a bunch of different things that supposedly (or anecdotally) help with arthritis, but ASU seems to be one of the few supplements that actually does well in scientific studies. (According to NYU Langone, this is not the case with any of the other supplements I'm taking.) Felt very excited & hopeful when I read about the studies on ASU. So I am going to keep taking it, because there is actual evidence supporting its effectiveness!
Then I found CoQ10 and that helped a lot. But, when I added AvoVida to my daily regimen, I knew that I had found a combination that worked very well for me. I bought some for both of my sons-in-law. One of them is absolutely not a "pill taker" and would not even take Tylenol most of the time. But, the relief from both of these items for all of us is unbelievable. I am sold. I am so thankful that I thought about giving AvoVida a try. It has helped me so much! I do not have to take something for pain every day now.
I love it!
