I'm not postpartum or menopausal but I did suffer from alot of hormonal shifts after having a tubaligation with my last daughter. Don't believe medical Doctors when they state, having your tubes tied off doesnt effect your body or hormones. I'm telling you, it does and can effect your body. It should have been common sense, anything you add, take away or alter can have side effects. I can tell a big difference since adding the Placenta and FEM. They both have improved my sex drive, my period, my mood & lessened the daily depression I have suffered from for years.
I've seen a few reviews where people have stated a certain supplement made them sick or nauseated (common detox symptoms) but you have to follow the guidelines for starting each new supplement. I started off taking 1 capsule daily, after 3-4 days take 2 capsules, another 3-4 days increase 3 capsules, continue until you reach 6 capsules or the amount you feel is best benefiting you. If you start to suffer from any detox effects, don't increase dose, stay at current dose or even cut back some until you can tolerate to go back up.

Now for the review on Placenta (and only placenta). It’s a no for me. For now. I was hopeful when I came across it that it would be helpful for me. I’m 43 and wanted some support for my libido and moods (turns out the FEM product by AS would’ve probably been more aligned with my needs but I didn’t see that on here). The first day I took one and was fine. The next day another. It was great. And then by day 3 I was SICK! I mean really ill. This was the only new thing I had added. So I didn’t take any that day. The next day I was better and figured it had been something I ate and took another one. Later that evening I was sick again. So that clued me into it being the supplement.
I am probably carrying a really high toxic load right now as my autoimmunity symptoms have been flaring (hence wanting the support). I don’t believe that it is a problem with the supplement at all, but rather my body just isn’t ready for it yet. I take a few other AS products and I’m doing well with them. I want to find the feminine support but it’s never on Florenmolamarts.
Great products overall. You can’t go wrong with real food. But be mindful that if you have autoimmunity symptoms, you need to go slow.
I was on 300 mg of Gabapentin but technically, it's not kidney friendly. I had renal cell carcinoma and lost my right kidney and gallbladder due to a separate issue. I was quite desperate to find something that would not 'bump' off another organ. The only escape from the pain was sleep. I knew somewhere out there was something natural I could take that is not a narcotic, nor was addictive. My first purchase was the Bone & Marrow to help with the hemolytic anemia which I felt was a result of the loss of my kidney. I bought the Kidney formula of course, for my kidney. Finally the Placenta was back in stock and immediately bought a bottle.
If it were not for the Placenta (#1) formula, I would still be in bed, sleeping to escape the pain. My quality of life had no quality. I am now able to walk up to 2-3 miles every other day. I could NOT do this before. I quit the Gabapentin btw. :)
The only downside to this product is the price. Over $60 for a month's supply is really steep for me, but it really does help. For reference, I also take regularly the mixed organs, the living bone, the tallow, and the adrenal (you have to get that one on their site). All have helped to the point where two physicians have said they noticed a difference in me.
My depression has dramatically decreased, ever since the pandemic I have literally stayed in the house depressed,sad,drinking a lot and felt hopeless. My mood is stable surprisingly happy. I keep the kitchen clean now, I'm ironing my boyfriend's shirts going out of my way because I feel so energetic and happy.
Now I do need to add in I take placenta six capsules a day, bone marrow six capsules a day, and liver six capsules a day. It took me about 4 days to get up to taking 6 capsules. If you feel a little woozy or nauseous it's because you took one or two too many work slow. Those three have changed my life. I've never taken antidepressants but I know those are not for me and this is the best alternative. And I'm not getting paid for this. Don't hesitate if you are experiencing depression, menstrual issues, anxiety or generally just not happy. You won't be disappointed! And it took about less than one bottle to start feeling a difference.

I’d never heard of placenta caps before and, honestly, the idea grossed me out, but I was desperate for help.
Due to an emergency c-section and an unexpected stay in NICU, my sister and nephew had already been through the ringer. To make matters worse, she was having difficulty with her milk supply. Any mothers who’ve experienced this know the irrational guilt that accompanies the problem.
It was heartbreaking watching my sister go through so much emotional turmoil. After all the stress the family had already endured during this past year and a half, I was willing to try anything to help. Not having any female relatives to advise us, we went to Google and tried remedy after remedy, trick after trick. Nothing had a lasting or major impact. We thought we were out of options.
But while creating my regular Ancestral Supplements order, I happened upon the Placenta product. After reading the few reviews that were available at the time, I crossed my fingers and ordered.
It worked!!!
My sister went from having to supplement with donor milk and formula to being able to freeze her own excess! Yes, she has to stay hydrated and get enough rest, but before these capsules she was doing that and more with no success. As far as I’m concerned, this product is gold.
To any nursing mothers reading this, give them a try and some time to work. And while you’re at it, drink plenty of water, try to get enough sleep, and show yourself some kindness. This isn’t your fault. You’re not a bad mother. You’re not doing anything “wrong.” It’s all going to be okay.
Spleen, Thymus, Thyroid, and Colostrum, didn't provide any NOTICEABLE benefits, so I discontinued those. Liver has always been a nice little boost and has helped immensely with hair growth. The benefits with Kidney were enormous and pretty immediate. Bone & Marrow and Brain are sitting in my cabinet and I'm waiting to start these in the future after I've been on Placenta longer. I think it's important to start each type of supplement one at a time so you're aware of what could be causing any negative effects, or what in particular is causing the most positive effect.
The Placenta was a huge, noticeable, and immediate improvement. I'm a 35 year old female with history of hormone issues, including hypothyroidism (since I was 19) and recently diagnosed with premature menopause. I'm being treated for menopause and thyroid by my OB/GYN which basically gave me my life back, but there still seemed like something was missing. Western-medicine treatment got me to a level of functioning again without worrisome symptoms. I haven't really felt like myself in years, though, mentally and physically, despite this treatment. I can't even describe the feeling Placenta has given me within just a few days. It's given me a feeling of well-being and happiness that I haven't experienced in such a long time. I'm so excited to go out and DO things, SOCIALIZE, and EXERCISE. I won't be able to describe my history of health struggles in detail in an Florenmolamarts review, but I assure you, they were immense. I really don't know exactly what it is about Placenta or what particular nutrient is filling what gap, but it's definitely a missing link to this whole health puzzle.
I've had to "adjust" a bit to taking things like Kidney and now Placenta. I tend to take 3-6 caps starting out, so I don't need to start super slow, but I do notice when I start with a full dose, I have some MINOR healing reactions like a sore throat, general fatigue, and insomnia. It tends to go away for me after only a few days to a week maximum. Everyone will be different in this regard.
When my health really crashed in 2018, I started taking an excessive amount of minerals, vitamins, and herbs. As I’m in the process of finding the right dose for my body I do already notice an energizing effect. I’m currently at 2 capsules per day and I take them in the morning with food and a good dose of healthy fats.

When I encapsulated my own placenta with my youngest daughter and I ended up having an adverse reaction. I was really bummed this happened because I had such an amazing experience with my first baby’s placenta encapsulation. When I heard about Ancestral Supplement’s new Placenta product I was stoked!

Updating for 10/27/2021. I experimented and stopped taking Placenta for a few weeks. I decided to try Ancestral Supplements Collagen to see if I would receive the same benefits, especially for knee pain relief. All other products remained the same. Collagen made no difference. Overall I felt worse and my knee pain was beginning to increase. Finally I waved the white flag, stopped Ancestral Supplement Collagen and swallowed 4 caps of Placenta. Knee pain relief was within 3-4 hours. Overall sense of well being returned in a couple of days. Amazing. Placenta is staying on my daily list of supplements.
And as I’m working on getting rid on these last vestiges of fat on my thighs and abs(3 kids in 6 years) my skin is responding nicely and not becoming saggy, or dry! I don’t know if the placenta itself is helping with that or that in conjunction with the other 4 ancestral supplements I’m taking do.
But as it stands I plan on being a life long Ancestral Supplements customer and supporter. Ladies I highly recommend these!
I did a bit of my own research and found that even the national institute of health (aka the gov) has noted that human placenta is known for menopause symptom relief. Who knew that was a thing.

I was still hesitant so I got my husband to start on the Beef Organs which he stated gave him a 'zing' to his step. Finally I broke down and ordered Placenta since it has liver and is supposedly amazing for post- menopause.

Normally if she misses her medication (usual antibiotics) or we forget to rub her ears down with a topical solution they become incredibly inflamed...Not so, with using Placenta as I noticed when I intentionally stopped her medication for two days while travelling and there was VERY mild inflammation, no pus and no sad puppy constantly shaking her head due to irritation.
This is going to stay in my pups' diets (their girls btw) for awhile since it is so hard to find female dog specific products that do not sound like snake oil! I don't know what it is but we both love the improvement and cannot wait to see what other benefits adding Placenta to their diet will cause!!
